Adventure Tour to Lake Baikal and Irkutsk – 5 days / 4 nights
Program
DAY ONE
-Arrival in Irkutsk
-Transfer to Listvyanka, visit of the Wooden Architecture Museum on the way
-Accommodation in Listvyanka (hotel/homestay/chalet)
-Excursion to the Museum of Lake Baikal.
DAY TWO
-Hiking from Listvyanka to Bolshie Koty (about 24 km). Depending on the weather conditions and skills of the travelers, the path along the shore, as a more complicated route, or a path through the taiga-forest and bushes, as an easier option, is taken. Typically, hiking is about 7-9 hours with a lunch break. Most of the tourist's luggage is kept in Listvyanka. A tourist needs to carry a rucksack with personal staff required only for this hiking.
-Overnight in a host family (homestay) in Bolshie Koty.
DAY THREE
-Walking tour in the vicinity of Bolshie Koty
-Afternoon transfer from B.Koty to Listvyanka by hydrofoil
-Overnight at hotel/ chalet/homestay in Listvyanka.
DAY FOUR
-Morning transfer to Irkutsk.
-Walking city tour, including visit of 1 museum.
-Overnight at hotel/ homestay in Irkutsk.
DAY FIVE
-Free time
-Transfer to railway station/airport. Departure from Irkutsk
Important information about the tour:
-From June 1st till September 20th Public hydrofoil operates daily (Day 4) from June 25 till August 26.
-From June 1st till June 24th and from August 27 till Sept 20 daily except Mon and Thu.
-From 1 client up to groups variable in size. Ages up to 45-50.
-It is possible to rent a private boat for 1 hour (USD 77) and to make a walking part shorter
-If we rent a boat for 1 hour walking part is about 12 km.
-We strongly recommend to a rent private boat for older clients.
-Both villages, Listvyanka and Bolshie Koty are located at the shore of Lake Baikal
